Friday was Ethan's last day with us in the School Garden.
Affectionately known as "Mr Mix It' to all our Friendly Garden Gnomes, Ethan joined the Garden Warrior's not long after the Christchurch earthquake when all schools in the Buller Region had a temporary increase in their roles of up to 20 kids.
Ethan was always one of the first Garden Warrior's to turn up to the lunch time Garden Sessions, and promptly immerse himself in any task that involved multiple containers, water and mixing...
It was a privilege having you on the Team Ethan, we are really going to miss your cheerful and engaged presence in our School Garden.
All our Garden Warrior's wish you and your Family well on your return to Christchurch.

Ethan has very much appreciated his gift from his gardening friends. He often talks about what he used to do in the garden with you all. He has taken his knowledge that he has gained with his fellow garden warriors and is using this in his own garden here in Christchurch. Once again huge thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear that you are still "mixing it up" over the Hill Ethan, we have just found out today that we are the Primary School Winners of the Tui Garden Challenge for 2013! A HUGE achievement...we may have time now to write you Garden Book for you! Take care Garden Friend!
